The Application/Website/Services/products obtains the information you provide when you download and register for the Application or Services or products. When you register with us, you generally provide
(a) Your language preference, phone number, your ward’s educational interests, and other optional information such as your location and email address.
(b) Transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use applications from us;
(c) Information you provide us when you contact us for help;
(d) Information you enter into our system when using the Application/Services/products, such as while asking doubts, participating in discussions, and taking tests. The said information collected from the users could be categorized as “Personal Information”, “Sensitive Personal Information” and “Associated Information”. Personal Information, Sensitive Personal Information, and Associated Information (each as individually defined under this Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 (the “Data Protection Rules”)) shall collectively be referred to as ‘Information’ in this Policy. We may use the Information to contact you from time to time, to provide you with the Services, important information, required notices, and marketing promotions. We will ask you when we need more information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application/products/Services may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application/Services/products. As is true of most Mobile applications, we also collect other relevant information as per the permissions that you provide. We use an outside credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
We use Razorpay for processing payments. We/Razorpay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved. Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Use of your Personal Information
We use the collected Information to analyze trends, to conduct research, to administer the Application/Services and products, to learn about each user’s learning patterns and movements around the Application/Services and products, and to gather demographic information and usage behavior about our user base as a whole. Aggregated and individual, anonymized, and non-anonymized data may periodically be transmitted to external service providers to help us improve the Application, products, and Services. You would be required to log in with your Gmail ID before accessing Public forums for verifying that you’re the age of majority. Your username would be automatically generated initially, which you can edit later under the profile section of the app. Once you edit this username, you would be giving us permission to associate it with your online activity on all of our public forums, and will be publicly visible. When you use certain features on our app/website like the discussion forums and you post or share your personal information such as comments, messages, files, and photos, will be available to all users, and will be in the public domain. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting on our forums this information may become publicly available.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your Information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. How Long Do We Retain User Data?

No Vulgarity: We restrict the display of nudity or sexual activity. Additionally, we default to removing sexual imagery to prevent the sharing of non-consensual or underage content. Restrictions on the display of sexual activity also apply to digitally created content. We also restrict sexually explicit language that may lead to solicitation because users within our student community are sensitive to this type of content and it may impede the ability for them to connect with their friends and the broader community.
No Violence: We remove content that glorifies violence or celebrates the suffering or humiliation of others because it may create an environment that discourages participation. We allow graphic content (with some limitations) to help people raise awareness about issues. We know that people value the ability to discuss important issues like human rights abuses or acts of terrorism. We also know that people have different sensitivities concerning graphic and violent content.
No Bullying: Bullying and harassment happen in many places and come in many different forms, from making threats to releasing personally identifiable information, to sending threatening messages, and making unwanted malicious contact, and abusive comments. We do not tolerate this kind of behavior because it prevents people from feeling safe and respected on SSC Aspirant. We remove content that’s meant to degrade or shame people. We recognize that bullying and harassment can have more of an emotional impact on students, which is why our policies provide heightened protection for our users. _ We require self-reporting because it helps us understand that the person targeted feels bullied or harassed. We encourage people to report such behavior and content.,
No Hate Speech: We do not allow hate speech on SSC Aspirant because it creates an environment of intimidation and exclusion and in some cases may promote real-world violence. We define hate speech as a direct attack on people based on what we call protected characteristics — race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, and serious disease or disability. We define attack as violent or dehumanizing speech, statements of inferiority, or calls for exclusion or segregation and take action on the same.
